At Living Word we believe that everyone is called to ministry. Jesus asks us to "love our neighbors" and the ministry is about doing just that - loving others. God is love, and as His children we want to embody His love by caring for and sharing with others in practical, tangible ways. How do we see God in this world? He is made visible through our loving actions in our church, our community, and our world.

The primary purpose of Living Word's Ministries isn't to build caring programs.  It is a mission to become a caring community of believers. We don't want to be known as a church with lots of ministries, but rather as a caring church that ministers to needs. Our focus is therefore on receiving God's love and then allowing that love to emanate from us, as from a city on a hill.

With that in mind, programs are useful in helping us to take initiative, get some experience and overcome any fears we may have in sharing with others. 

We are a small part of a larger community and we desire to extend God’s love to Brampton and surrounding area. We believe that God's love includes all people and we have opened our doors to the community in order to share His love with others.
