Living Word's desire is to have an ever-growing number of children to visit our church. Helping them to find a place where they feel loved, get to know Christ, and continue to grow through fun and life-changing experiences. We want parents to find a place where their lives are impacted by what they see happening in the lives of their children. We also want their experience from the moment they arrive until they leave to be one of surprise and delight.
Our Nursery Ministry consists of babies under the age of two on September 1st. We have an Early Two’s Class for those children in the nursery who turn two after September 1st. This class starts in late winter, or early spring, depending on the number of children and their ages at the time. We encourage all of our moms and others to help serve in the nursery on a rotation basis.
The Children's Church program is one of a kind! Lively singing, funny skits, puppet shows, multimedia and other creative age-appropriate means will be used to teach children in an environment they love. Children Church activities will be convened during the adult worship service, and will be a fun learning experience.
Parents will be encouraged to attend at least once a year to experience it!
We will offer a variety of special events throughout the year, including involvement in seasonal plays and skits, the biennial Junior Talent competition sponsored by the Church of God, Girl’s Jamboree and other events.
